    Here is an interesting one!

I'm not a big time tremolo guy but having experienced both the Fender and G&L versions I would opt for the G&L every time. It's much smoother. Here's more info on it. https://glguitars.com/dual-fulcrum-vibrato/

    B.B.King

B.B was the master of what you don't play is just as important as what you do play. Space is musical too. Always love playing The Thrill Is Gone. As long as I'm on guitar I can do it like B.B. and not have to play while I sing. On bass I lose that option.

    How's Your Weather Today?

About the same today as yesterday but with a 50% chance of some rain. It's currently 51° at 6:30 am headed for a high of 81° this afternoon. There's that 30° difference we always experience.

    How's Your Weather Today?

We did get that brief rain last evening and it was a class A T-storm with 50 mph winds and all but it didn't last more than 20 minutes or so. By sunset we actually had one. It did cool us off nicely though. Cooler today with a high of 82° under some cloud cover. Low tonight is forecast at...

My new Sheraton and a small rant…

I guess I would agree with Mimmo and others who posted that Gibson will always keep the Epiphone line a step or two below Gibson in much the same way Fender did or at least attempted to do with Squier. Eventually Fender had little choice but to upgrade their standard MIM series since the MIC...

Nice one Peter. :thumb: A Casino with a "worn" finish is the last want on my list. I really hope one doesn't show up around here any time soon. My bank account still needs time to recover from the two I just bought.

Does anyone top wrap a Epi LP with an aftermarket ZINC tailpiece?

I may have a stock tailpiece around here in my parts box. Let me know if you'd like me to fish it out and send it along to you Epison.

Playability is excellent. The seller is a player herself so she had it very well set up with a new set of strings. Action is low just how I like it. Weight is just under 8lbs and well balanced as far as I'm concerned. It has a '50s type chunky rounded "C" neck. It's a good handful with a...

Those are so damn classy. If I had not already bought my '56 Gold Top I would've been a buyer for that "55 version.

    How's Your Weather Today?

Pretty much the same here today but with a 50% chance of some rain. High around 87° with some light winds. It's 58° right now at 3:30 am.

Stroke of luck. The seller had it priced too high to begin with but I think that was part of the plan. That makes the asking price all that more attractive when it's lowered. I do that myself sometimes. We have an 8% sales tax here as well so I like to buy local when I can to avoid it. I...

    What's Yer Sign......?

Check the plates. Must be California. Here in Colorado we always pull off and park in a safe area not too near schools. 😁
