I have a 2019 s/n ebony Les Paul Custom that I bought new in June 2020, it's a great Les Paul style guitar. I'm on the fence about selling it since I bought yet another Epiphone LPC (Joe Bonamassa BB) and now I don't have room.
Yet I'm casting a covetous eye on the Epiphone SG Custom in ebony, with an ebony fingerboard (hmm, is there a trend here?). If I could get some insight on the profile of the neck, I might end up selling a few of my bolt necks and keep all the Epiphones.
To compare the two LPC, the 2 pickup version has a neck very much like my Gibson SG, to wit, fairly thin. The 3 pickup JB LPC has a fairly chunky neck and I'm finding I like it more and more as I play it. Logic says the SG Custom will have a neck more like the regular LPC than the JB.
