Look closely at the base of the neck. There's a pickup there. Just like on the Gibson j-160E that Lennon used. On Lennon's j160 they used a Gibby P90. He played the J160 on "I Feel Fine"

I LOVE Epiphone acoustics. That is a BEAUTY!

Congratulations! FWIW, different brands of strings will make a lot of difference in the overall sound. I like to try a few to see what the guitar likes best.
