The new Blueshawk is a model I need to have a close eye on...

I just hope the 'Trans Black' is similar to the one on my Nighthawk...

You can get lots of fenderish sounds with the feeling of an Epi....
very lightweight, around 2,4 kg / 5,3 lbs

and Ebony fretboard

From the pics I've seen, the new trans black Blueshawk looks a bit more "washed out"

Only the very first run (around 2010) had Ebony boards....

Mine is a 2011 made on the 23rd of July and it has an ebony board..that I'm extremely grateful for! If my house was burning down my Nighthawk would be the first guitar I'd grab

Yep that it does! I assumed that's what the 0723 part meant, if that's wrong oops, but either way its an '11 with an ebony board

11=year
07=month
23=factorycode = Samick factory, Indonesia
xxxx=production rank or whatever

You can't have all.....

IIRC they never 'officially' announced them to have Ebony boards
the spec sheet got changed later
