That looks like a fun axe to play. I sometimes use a very old Silvertone flat top, with a 50's (?) cream Guild p90 & controls stuck in the soundhole. Told many times that is one of my best sounding guitars. Want more p90's !

Wildeman, I appreciate your suggestion. Looks like I'm going in in the next couple weeks. I can use my Starfire III if I need an axe for a bit. NOW, I asked Gibson for a schematic / diagram. They sent it on a couple days notice, on a weekend !! How great is that ? So, it is wired goofy...
DPC, I'm just overwhelming myself with ideas. This is in the planning stage. BUT, I am going to check out those caps....if they ARE 100n, ( .1 ) ,those dogs gotta go 1st. I do like the idea of putting in a made up harness...but that has me thinking pickups as well ! I gotta settle down, here !

Have been playing a Joe Pass '99 Samick for my go-to Sunday service axe. I want to replace the tone caps ( ? ) . Are they are .1 mfd ? If so, would it help if I put in .047, or do you recommend .022 ?
