66 Epiphone Casino. What EL84 amp to buy?

Ive just purchased a 66 sunburst Casino!! I Will introduce her to you soon with pics.
Im a fender vintage man but love el84s amps with p90s and humbuckers. Im buying an el84 amp that i can use live.. A handy vox or marshall ..no need Too much gain. Not have a money problem.

What amp youre using with your casinos???

What best amp choriceros with your casinos?

My preference is the Peavey Classic 50, one of the best sounding EL-84 amps ever made. But the new Fender Bass Breakers look and sound VERY tasty. There's a few demos on youtube with it, but it just got introduced. GC has them in stock at most stores so they're easy to try out.

Measure your P90's dc resistance for us please? Plug a lead into your Casino and measure the other end with the pickup selector set all the way forward and then all the way backward.
You have the oldest Casino in this forum. Your Casino should measure the same as the Casinos used by the Beatles.

Thanks. We've had major discussions in here on the Casino P90s. You'd be surprised how little there is on the web about the Casino and vintage Gibson P90s..

I've got a vintage Traynor ygm 3 and it just kills. I understand they make a point to point wired reissue. These are made in Canada and are awesome, durable great sounding 1x 12" el 84 combos. Well worth your consideration. I bet that Casino would wail through this.

It's not el84, or even tube, but what about a Kustom amp? I mean it depends on what sounds you are going for, but the clean tones/reverb/tremolo were to die for on the two I've gotten to play. If you want I can post a recording

There really are only two possible choices. The Vox AC15 or the Vox AC30. Nothing else will do.

Congratulation on your new baby I'm shore you will have many hours together, I just ordered mine should be here by Tuesday it the casino Gary clark, as for Amps I hope my Fender blues junior 3 will do it justice that has EL84s and Pre Amp Tubes: 3 x 12AX7 fingers crossed
