I dont know if the Case is original or not..it seem so!!
The tuners have been repalced for Shallers...the rest is all original...light as a feather, best comfortable...resonant..screaming P90s...Awesome guitar...

Hey folks!what gauge of strings are you using in your Casinos?

What a beautiful instrument! There's nothing better than a Casino. I wanna go home right now and play mine ...
I used to use light Gibson brite wires (10-46). As they were not available last time I needed new strings I'm trying Daddario 10-46 on my LP right now and I think they will go on my Casino Elitist next time, they are regular light and they seem to last longer than the Gibsons.

I used to use EB slinkys but recently swapped to Gibson Brightwires on all my electrics. I won't be going back!

Try the Optima Gold Maxiflex. I only changed my strings twice last year and the still sound fresh now.

At £18 a set they'd need to last! TBH I restrung our Four electrics 2/3 times last year anyway and each gets played on average 3 times a week... I buy Bright Wires in 5 packs for £25 which also includes 2 extra Bs and Top Es... So I don't think the Optima strings would be value for money for me.

fair enough @MarkB. I use one guitar almost daily and the others sparingly, i found the Optima's Maxiflex and Bright Wires are very similar in tone

Oh another thought would be the Mooer Little Monster amp. It comes in a Vox AC or Fender Bassman (BM) flavor. The reviews and play throughs I've seen make it seem like a nice little $200 or so amp. It uses a single EL84 in class A.

I have a Peavey Classic 50 - it seems to pair very well with my Casino. Then again, I haven't found many amps through which I don't like the sound of it!
