Yes, I did it again....

watched this nice Blackie for some time, no other bids
so I grabbed it for a great price.
Will be fitted with the Gotoh 510UB Bridge,
probably the spare FGN Alico-8 HB set and some spare Gotoh tuners
will be fitted too

the Special-II would have a Bridge and Stoptail

this one has a wrap-around bridge - and it was one of the reasons I wanted it

If I've researched it right it is a Special-I

It is a Special 1, but with humbuckers. They used to only come with P90.

Special 1 = one piece bridge
Special 2 = two piece bridge

If that blackie was mine, I'd polish the finish. It will make the grain really stand out.

Seem like the last owner didn't like intonation screws showing, so he just removed them. Intonation has to be off as it is.

Congrats! I got the P90 version of that one . When I got mine it was missing one of those screws . After tuning it as is i was surprised how good it sounded acusticaly unplugged.
