Hello to all and glad to be party of the group. I love Epiphones. I've owned 4 over the years, a Casino and 67 Texan, which I"ve sold and currently own an MIJ Emperor and a Swingster. Hoping to get more information on both but the Emperor for now. Guirtar dating apps dont recognize the serial number so I cant tell when it was made. Head stock says Epiphone by Gibson and sticker on back says made in Japan. It has an orange label seen through the sound hole and a gthree piece neck. Any comments would be welcome.
thanks

'Epiphone by Gibson' on the headstock only was used for a short time around '86-'88
and all of those were made at the korean Samick factory,
they had white paper-stickers for the serial#.

if there is a 'made in Japan' sticker on your guitar, then something is wrong....

we need pics to tell more

The site is limiting me as a less than 24 hour member from posting more pictures, so more to come in time. My guitar is definitely an Emperor. So, still a mystery

The site is telling me my files(pictures) are too large to upload, which is confusing since it did allow me to post several. Any guidance would be appreciated

I upload 1200px. on the larger side, normal.

Frequent user problems. I do not know where the maximum size is indicated in the rules, it would be nice.

I usually upload to a photo hosting site (Imgur is still free), set the album to public, and post the pic URL using this icon.

Or you can upload it to your image gallery on this site and use this icon to link the pic to a comment.

Yes, but using the photo album is difficult and time consuming.
It's easier to use the [Upload file] button.
I think this is what many are trying to do.

And there is a limitation. Is the size limited in megabytes or pixels?
P.S. The XenForo engine's functions as a media gallery are great, but not always necessary or obvious.
Thats what I used to upload my first three pictures, then came the block

Question to Administrators:
Default settings XenForo Maximum attachment file size = 1024kb
How many megabytes are there?
Maximum attachment image dimensions?

You probably have to post this in the Front Desk forum to get a response. Admins don't read every thread.

The size limit here is smaller than other sister sites on Gear Talk. On one of those sites, you can upload 5 images in one comment.
