I never saw the Epi site list it as "Okoume", only on the Sweetwater site. The Epi official site doesn't have the greatest reputation for their descriptions of specs being accurate.

I know of okoume, African timber is widely used over here.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Marketing in most cases is king.
Btw I'm looking the guitar...
Who the hell decided is a good idea to screw the blues power plate like that....
If they absolutely had to, why not drilling the holes at the center of where the tailpiece posts should be.
So if someone want to mod it, he would have the guides already there....

If I didn’t already have the 55, I just might get one of these. I still want to check one out though, as it does seem like a very cool axe.

"They" say it forces you to play differently to make different sounds.

I dunno though, I wire my stuff up to add options, not take them away. Then again, that's fun for me, so maybe I'm not exactly unbiased.
Better to have and not need than need and not have!!

I like "multitools".
Blackstar seem to be the ones to watch at moment! In two minds about their I.D core combi.
You can combine replies. Hit reply on the ones you want to comment on and type in between the bracketed /QUOTE (starting point) and the bracketed QUOTE=random user (end point)

It condenses things a bit.
