it came with pickguard - though I removed it quickly....

A friend of mine has one of these and his also came without a pickguard or holes and he was peeved. He goes through spells of having the guard on for a few weeks then takes it off for a period before putting it back on.

I prefer them off, especially on this design however I prefer it on when it comes to my white custom.

A lot of new Epi LPs come with a PG in the case / bag not fitted.

If it came through GC they have a tendency to go through your paperwork and goodies and yank stuff out.
