Gonna remove the "foam "while waiting on screws . Probably change 3 way tip to Black so it matches rest of guitar . Change out Pups if I run across a set of Pro P90's ..... no complaint with these ..... just like the Pro's a bit more .

Well, these look like Pro P90s to me :hmm:. How can you tell they aren't?
And when was this guitar made?
It looks recent. It seems to have the latest Epi wiring with CTS pots.

Could very well be , just going off stock description . It's 2023 . If I may inquire ? Why do you think they are Pro P90's ?

To my knowledge, they've replaced P90s with P90 Pros in all their Les Pauls and SGs (except from the Les Paul Special I which, I think, is being discontinued anyway) since the start of the P90 Pros.

I think that their Les Pauls with their higher-end wiring (CTS pots) have had P90 Pros for a few years.

Not saying you are wrong ........ I need to buy more guitars to figure this out .

Custom P90

P-90 Pickups Summon Vintage-Hot Rock and Blues Tone

The Les Paul Custom P-90 comes loaded with two P-90 pickups, which were hot-rodded in the 1950s to keep up with the demands of early rock and roll. Their sharp attack and singing sustain add vintage flavor that stands out in a mix. When you engage both pickups, the tone is thick and aggressive, perfect for overdriven blues solos. Flip to just the bridge pickup for a punchy twang that cuts through a live band. Dial back the volume for glassy cleans with chime. However you use them, these period-correct P-90s authentically capture a seminal era in guitar tone.

vs

TV Yellow Special

Soap Bar Pro P-90 Pickups

This Les Paul Special has two soapbar Pro P-90 single-coils, made to match Gibson’s original specifications. This includes Elektrisola magnet wire, sand cast Alnico V magnets and tin-plated brass base plates. Voiced for rhythm and lead, they provide a wealth of vintage tones that work equally well in a modern context. The dual volume and tone controls use CTS pots for a smooth and accurate response.

I much prefer the look of the Les Paul Custom to the look of the LP TV Yellow by the way.

It makes me want to "customize" my Ebony Worn Casino with gold hardware, black pickups covers and a black pickguard.
