Finally have an Epiphone, so it must be time to join this forum. Many thanks to Paruwi for his previous advise on Epiphone and answering my queries particularly wrt 'fake epi's'.

I reckon they don't copy the Genesis (yet) so here's what I have:$_57 (87).JPG

I'm really pleased with the quality and spec of the Genesis, its tone is quite special.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Sweet! Congrats!
Let us know how you like the switch placement

I have owned and played a 64 Burns since the 70's, with a rotary switch. The Genesis switch is straight forward in comparison, position seems fine so far...

That is a beautiful guitar NorthernJack, I bet it plays like a dream! Welcome!
A friend of mine has one he RAVES about.
Congrats
Thanks for the complements guys. I had been looking out for a Les Paul for a while, but when I came across the double cut Genesis, thought the spec was great and loved the shape. Really like the colour and playability. Also, now I know the history, I like that it is an Epiphone original design.
