Squier Classic Vibe 50 2TSB Strat.

I've modded the bejaysus out of this one. The tuners and neck and middle pickups are stock; everything else is changed.

Gloss removed from back of the neck to leave fast satin finish; USA Strat string tree; Tusq nut; black 3-ply scratchplate; rails type humbucker in bridge position. I fitted all new electrics, wired master-tone and master-volume for all 3 pups. Also chicken head knobs for ease of seeing settings at a glance or by tactile impression from a quick touch; MIM bridge and saddles (actually no better than stock ones, but I had them lying around); full sized, solid steel trem clock.

This is my main gigging guitar. It does everything really well, from soul to hard rock. I love it.

That is a beauty!

Thanks RTH! It's a 1981 Carvin DC150 that I bought new. I had a 72 LPC at the time that got ripped off, so I bought this with the insurance money. Glad I did, it's been great all these years. Everything on it is original except the trem and the frets!

Yeah, I love it too. It's very loud and has a bright, but well balanced tone. Great for Bluegrass finger/flatpicking.

Here's a couple more of the Sienna. It wasn't quite done, but here she is all assembled...

It turned out exactly as I wanted. The burst affect isn't too intense. Although it took me a long time to get the hue right. This was a great project. I had fun and learned a lot. And Ash is a very good wood to stain. Oh, and you're looking at 15 coats of sprayed nitro.

Here's the neck I refinished...

Also Nitro...

Lordy....don't think I have a personal photo of my "other" guitar... it's an '08 BMG, antique cherry, or somesuch....MIK, the thing plays like mercury (the element ;) ) ...build quality is outstanding, tonal palette incredible, and few folks (the general public) seem to know what it is.... here's a generic web pic.....running 9's, short 24" scale, trem, it's "slinky," to say the least.....not to mention that I got $100 off and free overnight shipping when said retailer did not deliver it as promised way back when
