Yes, but they are rare and overpriced.... hopefully this model will list for what the current casinos go for

Fair enough, but I think I’m just a bit underwhelmed by this year’s offerings... However, if I was gonna choose one that’ld probably be the one!

In Stuart's pic I notice it says next to the Riviera, "also available, Riviera 12 string with VibroTone or frequensator." I thought this was a typo and that the idea of a 12 string with a whammy bar was crayyzeeee, then I googled it and one of the first images was a 1967 riviera 12 with a Bigsby. Bonkers! But strangely appealing...:hmm: I wonder if there were any 12's in that '97 run that had a trem?

I would seriously consider one of the 12 strings (and without the Vibratone), but then I looked at the finish choices, I'll pass. Electric 12s are enough work to keep in tune without adding "the bar". And, whatever happened to a good old fashioned wood finish? Black, OK. Red, ok, I have a thing about red guitars, goes back to a love/hate relationship with a Harmony Rocket. But Blue, Green, Gray, Burgundy....?

But didn’t €pi do exactly this in 1997 already?

Yes they did. I got mine in 2001 or so for less than $400 with a hard case. It came with a trapeze tailpiece, so I added the VibroTone myself. Love it!
