This is six years old, may have been posted before.

Gibson, Epi, Ibanez, PRS, and Music Man in three simple sustain tests.

Is it a scientific? Maybe not. But do I know in my heart that the results are accurate?

Hecks yeah.

Hey Johnny. "New Member"? Welcome aboard!
Great first post. I'm guessing all of us at EpiTalk love to see Epiphones trouncing the competition no matter how dodgy the test may be.
Seemed legit to me.
Cheers!

Welcome. It didn’t appear that the guitars were all tuned the same or if it was, the same feet wasn’t used in the no bend test.

Boy, the gear snobs at the My Les Paul forum, Gear Page and Harmony Central would throw a fit over that video .

My 2007 Epiphone LPC, is Monster when distorted , it really is percussive when I palm mute and easy to do pinch harmonics .

Comes to show you, Epiphone guitars are as good or better than a Gibson, especially when modified to taste .
