hi all.

I just received my brand new Epi LP Tribute. It is sooooo nice!

I have a question...I re-wired the guitar and replaced all the electronics. I did the 50s wiring with independent volumes.

I like the tone a ton...but the tone knob does next to nothing. I have orange drops .022.

The guitar has a nice bright tone but I wouldn't mind being able to roll in some warmth. How do I do that with my current wiring?

A diagram would help. There are a few "50's wiring" diagrams out there. What value pots did you use?

Sounds like you cannot pass frequency to ground as you lower the resistance to ground as you roll the pot down, since the tone is and stays bright.

Cold solder joints?
Re-flow your solder joints especially the grounds to the pot casings.
