USA Casino

I have played some really nice Epi's over the years and certainly one of those models is the Casino.
I just purchased a new USA Casino and although not a perfect reincarnation of an early Casino it is a beautiful guitar.
As mentioned - I'm sure many times - the fretboard markers are reversed...
An interesting choice although still looks "like" the originals short of being a dot neck.

Royal Tan is the one I found just cause it looks great to me and I used to own a
61 50th Royal Tan.

This guitar I think is great stock or even with a Bigsby.

Very beautiful guitar,, how does the neck thickness feel? Is it more a late 50's or a 60's type neck (Using the Gibson scale)?

I should receive by Sunday. I'll follow up with a review. If it is what I hope - I may sell a few things and get another one with a Bigsby on it.

Maybe to distinguish them from MIC Casinos?

Here's something I found when someone was inquiring about fretboard

".......I called Gibson a couple days ago & spoke to one of their Customer Reps about the mindset behind these new Casinos.. He said, the design is not by accident or a fluke.. It was indeed planned & intentional.. They want this new USA to be unique from all the previous Casino's & not be a tribute reissue.. Their intention is for it to be identifiable as a new issue USA Casino.. He says the level of quality is second to none......"

I've had mine for almost two months, but I finally put in some good time with it this week. I haven't done a direct comparison with my Korean model, but the neck is noticeably different, and the pickups are definitely mellower.

Epiphone calls it a Rounded C profile; it is thicker than my 2020 Wilshire that they advertise as a Medium C; roughly the same as my Emily Wolfe Sheraton Stealth that they call the 60s SlimTaper C.

It's similar to, but slightly thicker than, my 1964 Epiphone Cortez.

As far as the inlays go, I don't mind them not being "correct." If you look at yourself in the mirror, they look just like it does when you watch Paul McCartney on stage, but with the controls in a better spot.
