I'd like to see Epiphone bring back its 1960s solidbody series: Wilshires, Crestwoods, Coronets.

They could do a "classic" model with P90s (and call it a Wilshire), a "deluxe"/"custom" model with mini humbuckers and vibrato (and call it a Crestwood), and then a "modern" model with a pair of humbuckers (Alnico Classic Pros?). That would cover a wide range of tastes without becoming an overwhelming addition to the lineup.

I haven’t had any of the new models in my hands yet; have they dumped the dipped-in-plastic finish?

if not: thinner finishes.

Please, please, please Epiphone (or Gibson) read this and build them again.
(A single one for me would be enough... :))

Have a nice day and stay healthy!

Let Gibson make the Gibson models; Epiphone needs to make Epiphone models.

Emperors, Triumphs, and Broadways (real ones, like they made before the buy-out, not JPEIIs and such; make them regular, Zephyr, Regent, and Zephyr Regent*).
Style 4s.
Sheratons and Rivieras with mini-'buckers.

*For those without a scorecard, in pre-Gibby Epi-speak, "Zephyr" denoted "electric", and "Regent" meant "cut-away".

That's what I say give the Epiphone division more control and builder pride other than just another overpriced Gibson version of a casino. I can just see the $2999.00 price tag from Gibson
Take a clue from PRS and it's s2 line and just make some under 2k original versions of classic Epi's you will sell a ton.

I want something that doesn’t exist.

I always loved the look of the LP Signature model from the 70’s. I wish it was more semi-hollow like a 335 and had either traditional humbuckers, mini-hums or P90’s and a 2V/2T knob configuration.

Basically a 335 with this body shape. Dead sexy.

I had this one for a minute. Didn't get along with it being almost nearly fully hollow. It felt too light. Plus the pickups had zero character as they were meant to go direct into a mixing console for jazz. Making it a true semi-hollow and putting some proper pickups in it would be killer!

I played one of these ages ago and I couldn't get along with the neck shape, which is often a deal-breaker for me.
Have you tried the JB 355?

I'd like to see Epiphone bring back its 1960s solidbody series: Wilshires, Crestwoods, Coronets.

Looks like they're doing all of those this summer and also IBG J-45, Hummingbird and J-200 acoustics among others

New Prophecy models also.

This video talks about the '59 Les Paul first and then gets into some other new stuff.

I would like to see an elitist line again.
Also more use of Varitonesq
Ama lastly, better quality control, I've constantly have had fret issues over the last 3 years with multiple brand new, high dollar epiphones. I love them once the frets are level and the board doesn't turn my fingers black.

This may be very trivial to some, but to me it's a PITA. Having a strap button on the back of the neck makes my guitar flip forward. I see a lot of newer more expensive Epis with the button on the upper cut away (body). I've heard of some hacks to reinforce the body so a button can be put on, but if Epi would do this with all their guitars, I know I would personally benefit from it.

OMFG. You heartless monster. I had hoped it would have gold hardware (which I abhor) but that's an almost 100% must buy. Damnit.
I know , it is a must buy.
And yes I am a heartless bastard.....

I’d like to see a vintage sunburst Junior just like the one they have now but without all the weird looking front and back veneering (or at least way better looking veneers) and a proper sunburst paint job that mirrors the classic we all know and love from Gibson.

I’d also like a proper tv yellow double cut junior that’s as good as their 2020 special (which I own and love).

Finally, I’d love to see them offer up the LP special in tropical turquoise or Pelham blue...but not any kind of metallic or flake finish...just keep them simple solid colors just like their current tv yellow one.
