I was drooling over those when they first came out and if I did not already have a '56 Gold Top w/P90s I would've bought one. But Teles have always been my thing and I sold two that I had for quite awhile in the last year as I began to revise my gear. Teles always sell fast. Here Mr.Soul let me add some fuel to the GAS fire! I just spotted this on Reverb I wants it but I can't has it. Just thought I would post it here and maybe some lucky ( meaning they got money atm) forum member would give it a home. I bet Paruwi already has this model.
Seems a little odd doesn't it especially since the fret board inlays aren't off color.I hope it's the store fluorescent lighting, but what is it with that piss yellow binding ? I'd ask them to take the guitar outside for a few photos.

I just had to resurrect this post in order to share something. The first addition I mentioned was a Baja Telecaster and damned if around a week later one didn't show up locally in mint condition with a great price.I have a few on my list but then my list changes from time to time. I would like to have a Fender Baja Tele before I die. As for Epiphone I'm thinking about a TV Yellow LP Special and a Casino Worn. G&L would yield a Blues Boy Tele and a fretless Kiloton Bass.
But at the moment my attention is turned more towards my amps and finishing up a project of condensing what I own. Mainly selling heavier gear and replacing it with lighter gear.
You can't imagine the battle going on in my brain today. My rule of late has been if something new comes in something old must leave. The old helping to finance the new.May the odds be in your (dis)favour, then !
Enjoy your new guitars!
My only experience with Sire so far has been that short scale bass I bought but I can honestly say that I'm impressed with their quality.I'm looking to build a telecaster with a MJT body and neck since my MJT Strat came out so well. I'm waiting for another batch of these in amber to show and i'll be snagging one these:
For the Special, if the price is as good as you say, sell it if it doesn't light you up. If you do lose a bit, see it as a rental. My philosophy is, if I lose $100 on a guitar when I sell it after owning it for a year, I tell myself that it only cost me $0.25 a day to play a great guitar. You can't imagine the battle going on in my brain today. The problem is I don't have anything I really want to part with. I'll either have to select something or bite the bullet and just buy it then decide whether I want to sell something or not.
It's damn bothersome ya' know.
I feel your pain brother! I have been selling pedals to finance my guitar purchase's but I'm at the point where I love the pedals I have left so I'm at the end of my rope. :(You can't imagine the battle going on in my brain today. Guess which side of my brain won. Yeah, the side with zero willpower. You can't imagine the battle going on in my brain today. My rule of late has been if something new comes in something old must leave. The old helping to finance the new.

That's the way I saw it as well. She had a very fair price on it and based on that I knew I'd never be underwater on it. That and it's like new condition made it hard to ignore. For the Special, if the price is as good as you say, sell it if it doesn't light you up. If you do lose a bit, see it as a rental. I feel your pain as well. I went through a pedal divorce earlier selling some I'd had that were getting little use any longer and were selling for somewhat inflated pricesI feel your pain brother! With no spouse or an equivalent to keep me in line it's just me and my willpower which happens to be very weak at the moment.Talk about your First World Problems !!!
Thanks Mimmo. Be hard to tell it from a new one right out of the box. The seller kept it in pristine condition.Congratulations @soulman969 !! That's a great looking guitar, you made the right dicision. Enjoy!
I hear you loud and clear I've got 12 pedals on my pedalboard and I'm a sucker for new delay pedals I've had them all. My time on the King of Tone list is getting close to four years so I know what my next pedal will be the odds are I will end up selling it. Thats a nice guitar BTW is it a Gibson or Epi and hows it play?I feel your pain as well. I went through a pedal divorce earlier selling some I'd had that were getting little use any longer and were selling for somewhat inflated prices
But there's always something new to try and more often than not enough supply to buy back those I sold if I really wanted to. That's how I decide on what to sell.
How easily can it be replaced and at what cost.
