As promised here is the 2nd of my Balalaika's, this is the 3 string, I don't know what it is with people, but the past 4 or 5 guitars/Balalaika's I've brought I've had to spend up to 3 or 4 hours cleaning them, but once they've been cleaned they look so much better.
I mean who needs walls full...
They are so light, and the neck is that thin, even tho I have small hands I can close my full hand around the neck, they sound similar to a banjo, ( well to me it does) but I haven't learnt to play it yet, no picks with these just 1 finger.
Well 1 Balalika has arrived, hopefully the other won't be too long, strange tuning on these as the strings are tuned in pairs, very light to hold, but gezz you have to hold them completely different to a normal guitar. The neck is really thin, I haven't got much out of it yet, but they are very...
I'm not an expert by any means, but alot depends on the player, some like a low action and others prefer a high action, the majority of my Epiphone's have a low action, and I have to admit that I do prefer a low action, even ony wildcat its low.I know it's probably not the answer you wanted...
Well what can I say apart from the wonders of the web, whilst looking through other sites I came across Balalaika's and low and behold I ended up buying 2, a 6 string and a 3 string, I think they are an awesome looking instrument, I don't have a clue how to play but they look like fun, as soon...
2 new addition's and another amp with a Korg ax10g peddle, aren't my neighbors going to love me, the guy said it loud but I didn't realise just how loud it as.
I am pretty much the same as you but in the matter of afew weeks I've ended up with 6 epi's, only difference is I am learning to play, I should have stuck to learning back when I was about 7 but my parents got me a full size acustic, and I couldn't get my arm comfortable over the body, so I...
I love epi's but I also have other makes, I have 3 other electrics and a Yamaha fg200 acustic, I am picking a epi acustic up soon.when I am practicing I will start on my strat but I will always end up with 1 of my epi's.
I didn't really say much on my 1st time here, I was too busy getting info on 1 of my guitars, so I will try again, I am 52y.o, single guy from the U.K, I am learning to play, but it's not going to good, if I'm honest. I own 6 epi's and picking number 7, 8 and maybe 9 up in the next few days...
I live in the U.K I would happily help someone out, if it ment them getting their dream guitar, my aim is at least own 1 of every single epiphone guitar, don't ask me why but that is my aim, I have a long way to go as I only own 6 and I'm picking number7 in about 5 days time, I just hope my...
I can't believe how much trouble you guys have trying to get guitars sent to you, can't you pay for the guitar then get it sent to a friend's address or someone you know (from another country) and then they could ship it to you? Just a thought.
