Epiphone LP Custom Lite (Light) and LP Custom '78

Andertons did a video on the custom lite (standard lite too) I haven’t seen the 78 yet though

    Slow

it’s like a train wreck, I had to watch. Then they teased the Epiphone changes and it caught my interest.

    Slow

It may be slow until winter NAMM I fear. But going off of the Captain meets Mark Agnesi it sounds like some new or revamp models are going to be announced. I’m waiting for that announcement personally. But was really tempted by a Trad Pro 3 in Pelham blue.

Not Much Love for the Custom?

It really seemed to sneak under the radar. I found it completely by accident.

Not Much Love for the Custom?

This year apparently. There’s videos on YouTube as well. Anderton’s is showing a standard lite as well https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept/electric-guitars/les-paul/epiphone-limited-edition-les-paul-custom-lite-alpine-white www.freebud.co.kr/shop/goods/goods_view.php?goodsno=46304

Not Much Love for the Custom?

It’s one of the models I’m considering for my next Epi. Kind of hoping they release the custom lite in black over here. I think Korea is the only place that has them right now.

Gibson is planning a major change to the entire Epiphone guitar line-up

I think both designs are still distinctly Epiphone, while being similar enough to Gibson design to make the people that want that shape happy. Both would look great on LPs and SGs too.

Epi Les Paul ES Pro ~ who among you has one of these?

I’ve kinda had my eye on one at my local GC. They have a cherry burst one and it’s pretty light compared to my standard. But I’m kind of waiting until we see what’s happening with the new headstock and if any model revamps happen with it. (I’m really wanting a custom, but that ES is really nice)

Gibson is planning a major change to the entire Epiphone guitar line-up

I was hoping it would be the wildkat head stock or a return to the 1989 headstock shape.

Any place for a serial # besides headstock??

Looks like a 1989 Korean model. I think the serial numbers were stickers back then.
