Any place for a serial # besides headstock??

Purchased this in '96 (?) from someone in the US Gov't, Claimed he bought it in Japan in '87.
Can't find any ## anywhere. Pics:

If I recall correctly, all Epi TRC have 3 screws. But you're right about the Korean winged TRC.

Were there ever open book headstock from Korea ?

Looks like a 1989 Korean model. I think the serial numbers were stickers back then.

The only other place I know for the SN is on a sticker in a (semi) hollow body or acoustic.

No, it's an early Korean made by Samick around 89-90

back then, they had stickers....
