No don't want to sell it, it's the best looking and playing LP I've ever had. Just trying to figure out if I payed a fair price. The guitar was repaired by glue injection then clamping. The headstock was cracked not broken completely off.
So is there a formula for figuring out how much a guitar w/repaired neck is worth compared to a non repaired one?
I recently bought an LP with repaired neck and was curious what it might be worth (if anything) in the future.
And here she is after a very thorough cleaning, restring and full setup!! This is the best playing, looking and sounding guitar that I own now, oh and it was also the cheapest!
Well thank you very much!!
Yes apparently sitting here all day hitting the refresh button on craigslist is definitely starting to pay off :)
Just out of curiosity would you guys put guitar polish on this LP or just clean it and be done?
The color is WC (worn cherry) and is a Standard LP color according to the epiphonewiki. It does have a "limited edition/custom shop" logo on the back of the headstock but thats probably because of the gold hardware or paint?
Ok here is the 150 buck special, I don't know what year it is. The frets are in great condition but the strings are dead. The guitar needs a cleaning, restring etc. The guitar works fine all the knobs and switches are good. The hardware is all gold. The seller said it was "cherry red" and that...
I spotted THIS on my local craigslist earlier today, I called the # and didn't bother haggling. Just said tell me when/where you want to meet and I'll be there with cash in hand. I never see deals this sweet pop up. Anyway going to post pics shortly of the guitar!
*edit heres a screen grab of...
I've heard of Seymour Duncan but I have never heard of Seth Lover. The guitar does sound awesome through my Line 6 Valve amp
Well that is good to hear! Trust me usually I pay to much for guitars.
So I recently acquired this "vintage" SG (its a 99). I took it apart for cleaning and noticed that it has Seymour Duncan pickups. So which model SD's are they? And it also has been rewired w/500k pots. So I was curious if anyone can identify the type of wiring job? You know is it 50's wiring...
Thats my 1999 SG G400 Deluxe I think the color is called antique sunburst? Anyway it has upgraded electronics and Duncan SH-55 pups. I am from Montana :)
