2:30 am. It's a cool rainy night. 47° with 82% RH and it will probably rain off and on most of the morning at the very least. The high for the day is forecast as just 62° so fall has decided to make an entrance and introduce itself today.
Several years ago I priced out all of the parts used in a pre-wired harness and found collectively they were only $10-$15 less than a harness and IMHO no longer worth the extra time and sweat.
Looks like our cold snap is arriving a day earlier than originally forecast.
We're going from a high of 88° under sunny skies to a Saturday high of just 71° with a 90% chance of rain. It's the first day of fall so I guess the weather feels like it has to live up to that. Sunday should be even...
Welcome to the forum.
You've used different cables so you've eliminated that as a source so we're back to the jack itself. Tough to diagnose without seeing the guitar but one thing I would check is to make certain the cable end is making proper contact with the jack. It should snap...
Same here. I've had enough unpleasant experiences with Goodwill to say that I am no fan of theirs either. Glad to have a Habitat for Humanity store in the neighborhood now.
Overnight low of 48° with a daytime high of 88°. So a 40° difference between highs and lows. Not all that uncommon as seasons change. We have two more days in the 80°s before the bottom drops out. We get hit with a massive cold front on Sunday and the high will be just 54° with rain and wind...
Low of 47° tonight. High of 85° later today. Mostly sunny with low humidity. Still quite warm down here but it's color season in the mountains. The Aspen are turning bright gold which makes an interesting contrast again the dark green evergreen trees.
I am really enjoying this guitar. I haven't put it away since I brought it home. It's the least costly guitar I own yet one of the best sounding and nicest playing.
At Jean's suggestion I dropped the neck pickup a bit and I've been dialing down the pickup volume to cut some of the 60 cycle...
I have a Habitat for Humanity Re-Store shop just 10 minutes away and I've found some real bargains there. I used to find the same at a Goodwill Thrift Store in Englewood when I lived there.
I'm amazed at the top shelf brands of clothing people donate that are either unworn or virtually unworn...
I've resolved that problem by using a similar approach to the one Peter uses. If it's black I'll buy it.....or very dark gray. Most days I look like and extra from The Addams Family.
Following an overnight low of 46° we're looking at a high of 84° today under partly sunny skies. So nearly a 40° difference between overnight lows and daytime highs. It's pretty cool out there tonight. Jacket weather.
