Added a vintage green (mint) scratch plate go my new IBG Firebird. Found fabricator on ebay who’s doing a matching truss rod cover. And Schaller strap locks. Anyone try a Compton bridge on Epi solid bodies?
I’ve got Compton custom bridges on a Guild Starfire and Gretsch 5420t. Amazing bell-like tones, even unplugged. Great string stability performance and intonation. Consider a couple of IG solid body models. Wondered if anyone has experience with Comptons on a LP or bird? Cheers!- macca9091
