I thought about that, and if I had been playing it for a year or so, I likely would. I just don't think I should have to repair a brand new guitar out of the box.
Upon further inspection the stud on the bass side for the wrap around bridge is pulling out of the guitar and already causing tuning issues. This one is going back too. Pictures attached. I'm a very bummed customer.
Quick follow up. Replacement arrived today. Truss rod fully functional. Was able to set to .011" relief (preference) with no issues. Places great! Thanks again for the advice.
Thanks for the advice. I have already sent it back and am waiting for a refund so I can by another. All of my research indicates that these guitars do not have a dual-action truss rod. When I eventually receive a replacement I will post my observations with the truss rod here for informational...
I am certain. I have it all the way to the left and can't get a .004" feeler gauge in without touching the string. I'f I go to the right at all it's even worse.
