Supermarkets at least have acted quickly by imposing a limit of 2 items in the most sought after items as panic buying his us for a second round.
QANTAS, our national airline is letting 6000 staff go as they predict that it will be July 2021 before air travel ramps up again.

Yeah, we're #1. I'm really sick and tired of winning. In my county alone 2512 cases, 72 new since yesterday, 66 deaths.

It’s a different world we live in.

Those people got pilloried on the BBC 'Have your say' news site yesterday about that story, Not only did they flout the restriction rules they left a mountain of rubbish on the beach.

The local authority had to get an army of beach cleaners in to pick up all the plastic & food wrappers etc.

Not only do they not care about spreading the covid virus around they don't give a stuff about the environment either.

Yeah, same pattern here, I'm afraid. I've always said I'd never hit a woman, but I almost punched an unmasked Karen in a grocery store who was loudly proclaiming her right not to wear the mandated face covering. I had all the symptoms (after I was hospitalized for surgery)back in December and am still not feeling right. I fear the USA may see nearly a quarter-million deaths before we're through the first wave, which I think is now at least 3 more months away.

We're still on the wrong side of the curve in some inner city suburbs but are alright most other places. I can only assume that there are people there that don’t understand the seriousness of the problem or whose English language skills are letting them down. They will soon find themselves in lockdown again if things down improve!

I miss my daughter like a piece of my soul is torn away, but loved the heck out of her and sil when they sent me a gourmet deli package and Skyped me for father's day.

We are pretty much anyway Peter but the areas of infection are as far away as 300 kilometres from us thankfully.
