So 32C today but a change is moving through later today which should drop temps back to low 20's. Yeah!
nights are still frosty over here
Since our basement flooded last summer, I've been keeping my guitars in the bedroom. My wife bought a humidifier due to the dryness, so I'm fortunate with the dryness this winter. No fret sprout here.Last month here in southern Québec, have seen daily lows of -20s °C or less. A few nights at -30°C. My wood pile is fast dwindling.
The house is sooo dry inside, even with an air exchanger, every guitar have fret sprout. My finger tips started cracking. Lip balm all the time. Got to go play outside to get some humidity back in my system. Drinking two liters of water a day barely helps.
Bring on the March sun and nice snow dumps for snowboarding.
I was wondering ... if you take care of the fret sprout in the dry (winter) season.
Will it cure it for good ?
Will the fret recess too much in humid times of the year and cause problems ?
Nahhh, balmy !Man ... we're freezing! LOL
Similar here today Mark but we might have a few showers too.
Nahhh, balmy !
21 c and overcast so I went fishing. No size fish caught but it was nice on the river.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day working!! It is snowing like crazy in the American southwest. Holding at about 30 degrees F right now.
My fishing season is still about 6 weeks out.
