I got this stack for «harder» gigs. It’s an ‘83 Marshall JCM 800 that I bought a couple of years ago. Got it cheap due to the horrible refurbish with brown vinyl. It sounds great though. The cab is an original Silver Jubilee I bought late ‘80s. As you can see, I couldn’t afford a flight back then, and when I finally could, it was too late. It has Celestion V30s.(I do believe it was posted here when I got the top. Sorry for the double post.)

I also recently bought this back. A ‘96 or ‘97 JTM 601. Bought it second hand many years ago, sold it, and got the opportunity to buy it back years later. A very good sounding combo with a Celestion Heritage speaker. I guess it’s the Marshall I’ve played with the best clean sound.

Apparently I haven't posted in this thread? Hmm.

Here are my amps back in 2012. I still have all these except the vintage Cordovox 2x12 cab, which was rated too low and I was afraid I might blow up.

I since gotten a batch of combo amps. Here are a couple, a solid state 50W 1x10 Laney and a hybrid Vox 1x10 30W:

And this Peavey XXX Super 40 EXP 1x12:

The Peavey is the second-most recent. The most recent is the 2x12 at the bottom of the "stack" below. These are all '80s solid states from Marshall's 5000 Series. From top: 20W (Model 5002), 75W (Model 5275), 50W (Model 5210), and 100W (Model 5213).

That's about it, except for a li'l hybrid Kustom 12A, which I actually use as a computer monitor to listen to music, haha!

I know, it's a sickness. :dude:

Can't use such a switcher - I don't have 8 amps or 8 cabs
Me neither. No longer giggin' or playing in a band actually-I only have one little amp.A DSL5CR.Marshall freak for ages unknown,I am really in love with that.Owned a lot of Marshall, the 6100 halfstack the most brutal I had.The Bichorus Valvestate 8200 was aewsome too-but didn't cut thru the mix.Awesome sound, but hifi ;-)
But HELL how I love that little DSL-a little gem,a superb Marshall and total worthy the Name.

Yes, this is just what I was looking for 45W full tube 2 channel with a footswitch, also has a boost which is nice! Lighter and smaller than my 50W Marshall head. It's pretty loud with a good heavy tone, nice clean channel also. Still breaking in the tubes so I think it will sound even better as I continue using it.

I purchased this new for $579, there is a 100W version for $999 but for the venues I play the 45W should do nicely!
