I was not aware that was Willie Nelson's son.

I didn't realize that either. Sometimes when a huge name's son or daughter follows them into music and get's a record deal or a lot of attention you think it's only because of their parents connections, but in this case Lukas can really deliver the goods :thumb:

I have more Epiphones than Gibsons or Fenders. And on this forum, perhaps, I can say aloud that I like the headstock. I do. I actively like it.

Epiphones are bad ass, not sure why the snit about the headstock. I like them too, easily recognizable, unique. Fun to collect, fun to work on, fun to play. I have a '74 Gibson & American made Fenders but Epis have a certain appeal, hence this blog. My buddy says Squires are to par with Fenders, I never felt that way but I always knew Epiphones were a cut above.

That Thunderbird bass is a cannon, really can bring it.

Not much I hate more than a Cherry Burst, but your makes me bit my lips. It is stunning ! That's what a burst should be, where you can't see where colors change. The color fade is perfect and so rich.
Concur for the very issue you cite. Whoever sprayed my 19' Les Paul Standard PTP Bourbon Burst was having a good day - fade is subtle and, more important, the area around the switch is not solid black.

Thank you folks. I really appreciate your comments. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this 2019 Casino with a Gator case. The seller is about 5 minutes away and said that his best price is $500.00. What do you all think?

Very nice. $500 sounds good for the Casino + case. If you don't have a P90 hollow/semi-h, this will fill a sonic niche (or scratch a sonic itch).

Congrats !
Can you tell us how is it better to you ?

I always preferred the batwing pickguard over the small pickguard and the new headstock design. But the neck on this guitar feels so much nicer than the G400, once you pick it up and feel that neck I never want to put it down and the guitar plays very nicely and the tuners feel much sturdier than the G400. The new SG has a locking bridge and tailpiece aswell which is nice as I don't know how many times on my G400 I've picked it up without strings on and BAM the tailpiece hits the floor lol

I really like your 3 PU LPC. When I bought my Epi LP Custom I considered the 3 pickup version but went with the 2 instead. Do you ever find that middle PU gets in the way of your picking hand?

Thanks. I've owned no less than 25 Epiphone guitars and that Frampton sig is the best sounding by far. I don't have any issues hitting the middle.
