I am thankfully able to tell you from experience that at least 90% of the time the guitars perceived as expensive, high end guitars are more fun and more rewarding to play. Sure, on paper it may not seem to be worth 4 times the amount of the lower priced model but how do you put a dollar value on fun and rewarding? It's in the small details where most high end guitars really shine. Those small details add up to a more fulfilling experience most of the time. Once in a while Epiphone and other companies will come out with a model that punches way above its weight class. The 1961 reissue Casino was one of those and I heard the Blak and Blu was another one. Both of those guitars are now commanding higher prices used than they did when they were new. It seems now that most of the Inspired By Gibson range are the next round of great Epiphones currently available at moderate prices.

Thanks Buddy and I don't disagree with you having actually played some great higher end versions of others I own. And when ever I've been asked if my CS Nocaster is really all that much better than my other Teles I will always admit that in nearly ever way it is provided one can see and feel the differences.

Hopefully I'll get a shot at playing a USA Casino in the near future. I'm not opposed to spending more for a better product but currently my desire for variety takes precedence over owning just two or three top of the line models. That may change someday and I'll find myself shopping the top shelf again.

I played a Made in China Casino 6 months ago and thought it was great.

I ordered a USA Made one, and have wondered since it arrived whether I paid too much for it.
I finally went back to the store after playing it for a month, and pick upped the MIC one again.

Night and day difference, not even close in quality.

There are some products that you pay too much for, and that fact always gnaws at you and diminishes the joy the bring.

There are others, were you pay top dollar for them, and over time you totally forget what you paid for them. You only remember the joy they bring.

The Made In USA Casino, is in the latter category for me.

This is what I was hoping to hear!

Does anyone make a no drill for Bigsby for the USA Made Casino with Trapeze tailpiece ?

Not sure I'm seeing anything at Vibramate?

Guessing you need a hard tail stop piece to make it work?

Vibramate relies on the stopbar studs to secure the Bigsby, which the Casino and some other guitars do not have.

You could use a B3 and add a Towner tension bar (and two extra thumb wheels) if it doesn't have enough tension.

Wouldn't necessary disagree with you, but I do watch his videos and enjoy the time he spends on taking them apart, and going over them piece by piece.

Yeah. I can't stand how fixated he is on certain inconsequential parts of a guitar (like every import Epiphone using a washer under the switch nut instead of a recessed version like Gibson), but if I need to see what is under the pickguard, he is the only channel that does it. When I was considering the Les Paul Junior or Special Tributes to modify, he showed that under the pickguard is a large route that could accommodate any pickup, even on the (later model) Juniors.

Bleh. As soon as I saw who it was I stopped the video.

You know after I read your comment
I had to view the vid I got three sec's in heard the theme song and ran screaming down the hall that guy should be banned from selling guitars he is so nefarious in his dealings with people. The words "Shady and self serving should be posted on all his video's.

With the jack being on the face does anybody use guitar cable with the 90 at the terminal?

Maybe it would only bother me because it reminds me of how to ruin headphones or phone charging cables by having that constant tension on the cable.

Yes I use a cable with the 90 at the terminal with my Casino. I also use it for a Jazzmaster. It keeps the cable out of the way of the tremolo.
