Eliminate stop tailpiece from Epiphone LP

Just as a suggestion, you may want to have a talk with the people at Ferro Guitar: http://www.ferroguitars.com/menu.html They machine all of their bridges, and make Les Paul bridges and tail pieces, as well as wrap around bridges, so they may be able to make a wrap around bridge in the...

Tonepros Bridge for 2010 Korean Epiphone Les Paul Standard

Ran into a snag, they shipped a nickel bridge (Tonepros T3BT-N) instead of the Chtome one I ordered (Tonepros T3BT-C).....and more waiting ensues. Anybody notice that shipping is taking a lot longer tha it used to?

Tonepros Bridge for 2010 Korean Epiphone Les Paul Standard

Its in transit as we speak. I'm not hoping for anything massive, just some improvement along with not being so prone to falling off. The wider intonation range will also be good.

    Ebony board?

Ebony for fingerboards is always black traditionally, never brown. What does happen is that sometimes, there are lighter streaks running through it. It used to be that all the ebony with the streaks running through it would be rejected for guitar use (up to 90% of the ebony was being rejected)...

My guitar has the same bright red coloured back as the edge of the sunburst on the front of the guitar. The eBay guitar has a brown back. The sides of my guitar and back of the neck are also bright red. I think my guitar is a MIK, from the serial number (101021081), which I am decoding as 2010...

Thank you, but it doesn't look as good close up. It has a number of dings on the back, and there is a really ugly mix of parts ( mix of black parts and creme parts, seemingly in no particular pattern). I am slowly going to get ir squared away. It sounds good, but there are buzzes coming from the...

Poly Finish On Epiphones, Casino Especially

I had a PRS SE Soapbar Maple II that went from blue to green (some sort of poly finish). It wasn’t the gig bag in my case, as it was out on a stand most of the time. It was either UV, or maybe the blue dyes/pigments are unstable.

    Upgrading Tuners

I have a set of the Hipshot open back locking tuners (staggered posts) on a Squier Standard Strat. The original tuners were rough, and were hard to accurately tune. I used the UMP plate to avoid drilling the headstock, and to allow me to install the tuners myself. The tuners are very, very...

Hi, First post here. This is my Epiphone Les Paul. Bought it used, and seems like it was modified before I got it. The switch, output jack, and electronics cavity covers are black plastic, but it has cream binding and switch plate. From the serial number, it appears to be a 2010 model year...
