NGD this should polarize the community

Been reading a bit of input/opinions folks have on different guitars/designs. We all come standard with a boatload of our own likes and dislikes. My take is that those are real FANCY Les Paul. The JB's A GREAT pick up. My beef is a matter of choice. I am a recovering boat builder and love wood...

The Epi Les Paul SL thread!

Just finished Talking with my Sweetwater Rep.. He told me that they are not expecting delivery of the New Les Paul SL's until the September October time frame. I am an impatient type. A whole lot can happen in that time frame.... I think I'll build a Special with the Seymour Duncan SL5 customs...

Good - Better - Best | Discover the Epiphone Les Paul

LOVE Les Paul's !! Or rather the basic shape.. The Gibson's and most every Les Pauls is beyond what I now feel comfortable paying.. Doesn't mean I can't dream, modify, tweak etc.. First guitar I purchased upon my return back to playing was my Les Paul Studio. So far she has gone thru 3 pickup...

The Epi Les Paul SL thread!

I have enough "high quality guitars" but. you know the old adage of never having enough.??! Those of us that enjoy working on and modding guitars see a real jem here. The Epi Les Paul SL thread!

I hear a number of others also interested in Epiphone's new Les Paul SL. Sweetwater has a couple pictures and this has spark my imagination... I am a bit "humbucker. PAF, P90'd" out att so, a pair of single coils on a Les Paul is attractive as I have a bunch of single coils and enjoy mixing them...

WHY do folks put "Gibson" truss rod covers on Epis??

If; one finds it necessary or desirable to use a cover plate.. I like the classy girl cover! I just leave mine off.. I don't share the opinion that EVERYTHING that comes from a manufacturer is good or, in good taste.

Question-EPI Les Paul with natural back?

Too much bling! Koa is a beautiful wood that deservers to be respected not: with glitzy gold and gloss finish. Tongue oil finish and chrome would be a far better choice.. Simple and natural..Know any guitar manufacturers that would do that?? I don't.. Ibanez come closest

Question-EPI Les Paul with natural back?

All Epie's have some pigment but my blond Casino, wine red Blues hawk and my blond Night Hawk show a very respectable gloss lacquer to them. It's surprising but I've stripped the black paint off of my Epi LP Junior and that god awful red stain off my LP Studio and the wood grains on both are...
