    2090’s collector guitar.... face palm

I’m not sure if it’s him or the actual guitar, but it doesn’t sound that great. Plus no strings! Just metal bars, like switches. Is this thing a guitar or a synthesizer?

    I asked a relic question…

Sounds like an authentic hand worn relic to me!

    I asked a relic question…

Natural wear is good. I’m getting finger marks on my neck in all the regular places. It’s very light but it looks cool I gues. Because it’s fingers not the dremmel tool.

    I asked a relic question…

My question to them was what is the very last ought preceding, “hand me the sander and the dremmel tool!” Man were they pissed. And I didn’t mean it that way. But a lot of guys pointed out to them what you said. The earned/played relic is better than a forced/electric sander relic Plus there was...

Help me pick a Bridge Humbucker

Yes I did mean that. Sorry. My luthier calls them that and seem to have picked it up Yes, Duncan 59. They are in my avatar guitar to the left.

    I asked a relic question…

On the strat site and I got ganged up on! It was pretty funny the way the relic owners got butt hurt. The gist of the thing was I like my guitars new looking and perfect, so if you didn’t actually wear the guitar then what does all the sanded paint and scratches mean?? Is it like a trick to fake...

Help me pick a Bridge Humbucker

For that Bridge pickup go to Seymore Duncan and look at “Fat 50’s” I bought two for an Epiphone Les Paul and turned it into a tone machine. I was really pleased. And it has a very similar look.

    Howdy from Missouri Ozarks.

John Lennon played an Epiphone Casino. A similar guitar to the Sheraton. They are both fine guitars. John sanded all the sunburst off of it, right down to plain wood. He preferred the sound he said.

Where you been? We have been waiting for you to show up! Welcome Brother. If your just starting to play, I always tell new players, “practice 40 hours a week” or “40 hours on each song”. It’s sounds excessive but when the song gets old you are probably playing it really well. Usually. :D

    Sitting and playing

I don’t know if it would work, but I use a piano seat. Works good for me…my posture is probably crap though.

    Songs you're working on

The last one I learned that I didn’t write was Harvest Moon by Neil Young. I just had 42nd wedding anniversary!

    What is brand new?

I looked. What a sweet guitar. I could cook up a big hot pot of jazz on that baby!
