Well...I just counted for the occasion my current herd of Lefties = 24 instruments.
It's my greatest number until now.

Since my beginning in 1980 when I had only one, the total number including the sold ones should be between 30 and 35.
I have a very small and slow turnover.

One day, I'll take some updated family pictures !

Currently have 10. My wife thanks you all!

I suspect the next one might be the last one. I only have one more spot available on the case rack, and I have nearly all the shapes / pickup configs I'm interested in.

I don't see the point in having 14 different versions of the same guitar - especially not at the pricepoint we play at.

Man I couldn't even begin to be accurate on that question. All I know is I have 15 now including my basses which is the most I've ever had at one time by a long shot. No longer having to buy $$$ gifts for a wife or significant other helps create more $$$ for the old gear fund.

Time for an update,

Okay so as most of you know its been a differcult last 12 months that have seen me cull my collection quite a bit.

There's only been 1 new guitar in the last 6 months, an Antiquity Rosewood Telecaster (Antiquity is the new in store brand of the PMT music chain here in the UK)

This guitar really is fantastic, especially for the price (£169), Plays like a dream and sounded pretty good stright out of the box. I changed the cheap zinc saddles for solid brass and added Round string trees, Rosewood knobs and a 38 special shell as a switch tip. The neck pickup is beautiful through my rig, the bridge was a little bright so I got a Wilkinson Broadcaster pickup for it, problem solved.

Okay so another one where there's one out and one it.

During my recent collection cull I've sold quite a few of my guitars to a friend of mine (some of these with the option to buy them back when I've got the funds). One of the guitats I let go was my 1982 Gibson Spirit 1 😥, he'd been after it since he first played it and in a fit of madness I gave in. The other guitar he wanted was my 2014 Gibson LP Traditional.

Short version is today I got the Gibson Spirit back and some cash to make up the difference and he got the Gibson Les Paul. I hadn't played the LP in about 8 months so it just seemed right.
