Crazy, it's already warmer than it was all day yesterday, 23F, & we're looking to double that by this afternoon

After the change yesterday it was almost cold. We considered putting on more clothes but in the end just closed some windows.

Today will be cooler @ just 19C or 68F.

Back out into the paddocks methinks as I need to get the grass in the front paddock down.

Ah the life of a (pretend) farmer!

Started snowing heavily shortly after I arrived at work this morning. Lasted a couple of hours and a moderate amount of snow was lying, but once it stopped it started to thaw and turn to slush. Now it's just thin patches of slush, which will probably turn to ice tonight.

It's a gorgeous morning here at 0600 hrs with a light mist rising from the dam, and pretty light.

23C or 76F maximum here today.

It was cool yesterday which allowed me to get a lot of slashing done, though plenty more to do still. Today it's a round of mowing as we are doing a roast outside tomorrow night for guests.

Went for a walk around the property yesterday avo and popped 4 or 5 bunnies with my air rifle.

This is what our morning looked like at 0700

With that temp and view, it sounds absolutely wonderful!

Yes we are fortunate to live in such a pretty place and the best bit is we've created most of the beauty here over the years.

Today turned out to be perfect and tomorrow will be slightly warmer, so sitting out at night with guests overlooking that view should be good.

A perfect summer's day here today and a max of 28C or 86F. Not too hot in other words.

Cooking in the wood oven for friends tonight...should be fun!
