Good Lord, you've got an amp for every day of the month!

Not yet but I'm getting there. truthfully I'm quite picky about my amps. I don't mind old solid state like my Marshall's or the the Vox Escort series but I haven't found a modelling amp I like so mainly its valves all the way.

My Favorite amp of the moment is this,
Redwood T-5H Guitar Amplifier Head

It was made for the Dawsons music chain by belcat amplification, 5 watts of pure all valve tone. It usually runs through either 2 or 3 of the matching 1x10 cabs I have for it. I added the vintage sixty badge just cause I like them and have removed the redwood badge since picture taken.

I heard from and inside source at the time, that Cheetah Chrome from the Deadboys used one of these combos when he recorded the Gibson BFG demo. I guess these combos are good for more than just blues?

We picked up the 158 really cheap for messing with and the Mustang is nice for what it is, we were checking some older Fender Combos today and might pick one up as they sounded nice, although the Jap Fender Strat that was being used with them might be a factor....

No this picture was taken @ dawsons in stockport the day I bought the amp. Redwood is Dawsons own brand and If you look in the background you can just make out the acoustic & basses on the wall. If Fab Music had one it would of been second hand and they'd would of been charging well over the RRP.

Lol, I'll tell him next time we see the owner that selling over RRP seems to work as FAB is still open and Dawsons is closed down, yeah I know about Redwood as we deal with Dawsons and all the staff in our local store buy from us, shame the Redwood Guitars are trash though, hope the amps are better.

The difference being Dawsons only closed stockport and that was only because of contract issues with the council whereas FAB are just idiots, most of the stock is either second hand or bemished or factory seconds that he then sells at full price without any notices of defects or issues.

Not very nice calling someone an idiot because they don't do things that appeal to you is it and extremely unfair as the shop has been there a while and obviously is doing something right but obviously not right enough (Or cheap enough) for you and you make it sound like 'second hand or bemished or factory seconds' is an issue when it's not. (No doubt you'll comeback with something about disclosure but the subject is already so boring I'm falling asleep so I'll leave you to it....).
