Tell that to Stew Mac, Philadelphia Luthier, Guitar Fetish, ToneMan, Amber Guitar, and countless other reputable vendors that sell "bell" and "top hat" as the same thing.^^^ Now I know that is incorrect ^^^
Top Hats have straight sleeves & Bells have curved sleeves.
But on the other hand, who really gives a $#!^
If you only knew what people give shit forBut, again, on the other hand, who really gives a $#!^
You gotta up your Gibson knobs vocabulary Stuart.
I think you've got me wrong here, it's not a matter of point scoring, I have yet to find a vendor that differentiates a bell from a hat because of a wee curve. Hell, it's not even something I'd even take notice of as anything more than a variation of a basic design.Oh, I dig the detail @BGood, & this is certainly not directed at you Jean, but I just can’t cop the incredibly petty point scoring by one or two that has seen a very good & truly knowledgeable mate of mine decide not to be around here any more
Dome feels better, but that's only a preference.Fender too
Barrel
Dome
Straight talkin’ ... & definately throwing the €pi-Brethren no BS curves here
Looks more like an evil proctologist to me, lol.
I like those. The domes were in the running for my Strat, but I found these instead.

I agree completely, some of the bursts come to mind.
On Epi / Gibby style axes I prefer the notched speed knobs.

I think they'd look pretty decent on that blue LP too.
Besides chrome, those would look awesome in a black LP.I agree completely, some of the bursts come to mind.
On Epi / Gibby style axes I prefer the notched speed knobs.
