Beautiful, like the addition of the trem. I know I've posted mine below but can never have too many picture of beautiful guitars. Just over 2 years since she joined the family and in that time she's done over 150 gigs and 500 hours of recording time and is still completely stock

Oh also my Gibophone or Epison Spirit (you decide) full story here = http://www.epiphonetalk.com/threads/1982-american-series-spirit.206/

No Sir, you certainly cannot! (you'll see me posting an Alleykat frequently) I would love to try that Pickup on the Firebird I. I think that guitar was certainly the most clear example of a better made Epiphone than the current Gibson

I agree completely, a couple of weeks after getting the epi version I picked up a 2017 Gibbo Firebird T but I never really bonded with it dispite changing the pickups too vintage correct wound "64" by Q pickups. The epi just felt better to play, originally I bought the epi as a little investment as well as a homage to my late friend Steve Clark of Def Leppard, however as soon as i plugged it in I knew that it wouldn't be sitting there as a collectors piece.

A couple of months ago I got together with Steve's brother's Kevin & Chris, I actually got my very first professional guitar lesson off him when I was 11 (he was a school friends cousin & also the guy that got me listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd) and we kept in touch right up to his death. My fondest memories of him are not him on stage with his Les Paul Customs or even his Firebird V's, they are the times I would get to meet up with him and we'd sit chatting (and drinking) while he noodled away on his 1964 Firebird 1. while we were goofing around Chris produced Steve's said 64 Firebird (a guitar fought over in nasty court cases by both his family and his 2 ex girlfriends - now greatfully back with the family).

It brought back so many happy memories that we all ended up crying with joy while telling stupid stories about him, while I finally got to play the original 64. after i'd finished playing I was amazed just how close the Epi version felt and sounded to the vintage gibbo, I'd taken the Epi because when we do get together we always have a jam (both brothers play guitar) and they both agreed that with the exception of a few dings and scraps from steve's drunken mishaps blindfolded they weren't sure they would able to tell the difference blindfolded. I just wish I'd bought a 2nd one instead of the Gibbo

Hello again! Thanks for the tip! Any suggestion/s? Musically yours Liselotte/Lottie

I replaced the amber knobs on my LP with cream colored ones to match the switch ring. I think they were from somewhere on eBay. On my Casino Coupe, I used chrome speed knobs from Schaller.

I can't stand those amber knobs. I mean, they just look awful; they don't go with anything, lol.

I sent my amber set to another member, who put it on a sun/tobacco burst body. They go with that, but I'm not a fan of the burnt toast finish either. :)
