Oooh that's a nice rack! That's something I could definitely use.Sounds good. I've got a String Swing case rack I picked up on Reverb a couple years back.

For my situation, it's the best choice for storage. The Handi-Clamps have been modded with these rubber pads I found to provide some cushion for the wood and a bit of grip. They help keep the cats from tipping things.
I suppose a few dowel pegs and some felt would convert it to a guitar stand... but not with six furballs running amok.
I had looked at those because I have a pair of Hercules single guitar stands and really like them. I didn't want to shell out the $130 or so after tax, but maybe I will just do it. I don't have a lot of free time lately to design and build something. This crappy one was $49, so throwing in another 80 for a stand I'll like isn't too bad.Now it looks like they are up to $115 apiece...
Oh ffff yeah! Thanks for finding that. They're only $93 on Amazon
Dude... I wasn't really into the modern when I first saw it but sweet Jebus thats nice! I like the gold much better than the clear. I think black would match the rings but would look too out of place. With that Caribbean beach vibe going on a black knob is kind of no style.Changed knobs from Clear to Amber and got a few outdoor pics .
What strings did you get? I have 10s on my Worn Casino and the ones I use feel really easy (compared to other 10s I have). I've become a big fan of Dunlop Mexican Lottery strings.Went from 9.5-44 to 10-52 string gauge on my Casino Coupe.
It sounds glorious, but it's kinda killing my fingers.
Has anybody got an exercise to build up fingers' muscle strength, please?
Changed knobs from Clear to Amber and got a few outdoor pics .

I don't know why you want to work so hard.I guess I should switch to another brand or another gauge. Does anybody have experience with the GHS Boomer strings used by David Gilmour, please ? They have a 10.5-48 version. How easy are they to bend ?
I've had good luck with ... GHS GB-TNT ( Thin /Thick ) Set ..... 10 , 13 , 17 , 30 , 44 , 52 .Thanks for the tip !
I've used a locally-made brand (Eagletone).
I'll try to find the Dunlop Mexican Lottery strings.
EDIT
Dunlop doesn't seem to be making the Mexican Lottery range in 10-52 gauge.
I don't know why you want to work so hard.
<sarcasm> Wow, it's almost like you're saying strings are subjective. </sarcasm>Not saying right or wrong ...... but the older I get ( my experience ) is the thinner strings cut more into my fingers . I went from 9-46 to 10-52 on my strats and find them much easier to play . Lp's are a variation of 10-46 , 11-48 , 10-52 , 11 -56 .
That's a nice collectino you got there (and beautiful photo too!!)Finalized the installation of Firebird pickups into my Pelham Blue Les Paul Modern this morning. Sounds awesome.
My five Les Pauls are in this photo. Three solid bodies, two semi hollow bodies.
Thank you, Noodling. Thirteen guitars in this photo, but I couldn't get the remaining 24 guitars of the collection into the photo. (I'm at 37 guitars now. And it's more than time to close the entry gate!!!) My most recent guitars are the three solid body Les Pauls. A sudden urge to replenish my then depleted Les Paul solid-body stock came over me in the recent months. That's a nice collectino you got there (and beautiful photo too!!)
